Was there a time when things were simple?

Or did I imagine it?

Simple was never part of the process

It's always harder than we remember

Process it in our minds to be something it's not

Remember that thing you thought was easy?

Not so simple when you try again

Easy doesn't exist

We just get over it

And when it's over, we forget...
